Tide Cold Certified washing machines must have a Cold Feature designed to improve that machine’s ability to clean in cold. Tide scientists must also validate that the Cold Feature improves cold wash performance with Tide compared to washing in cold without using the Cold Feature.
Each manufacturer in the program has entered an agreement with Tide supporting co-development of improved cold wash performance capabilities and co-marketing that encourages washing in cold water.
